Michelle Chesno, Clinical Psychologist
Adult and adolescent psychotherapy
Brief and long term
Couples and marriage counselling
For the last 30 years, Michelle has used her natural rapport with people, and her intuitive understanding, to help them resolve their life crises and reach their full potential.
She first got exposed to the benefits of therapy while practicing as a Social Worker, but decided to make the bold transition to Clinical Psychology in order to get a clearer, deeper understanding of what her clients were experiencing on a psychological level.
For the last 15 years as a registered Clinical Psychologist, Michelle has been exposed to a vast array of different clients, issues, and working conditions – from homes for adolescent criminal offenders, to bedevilled corporate boardrooms, to comfortable, convenient private rooms.
Equally adept in Adult, Child, Adolescent, Family & Couple therapy, Michelle describes herself as integrative and creative in her approach to therapy, and draws on systemic and psychodynamic, as well as cognitive and behavioural therapies. She works with individuals, couples and families including adolescents and children.
